Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Protection Professional to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with data protection policies and procedures. Your expertise in managing data breaches and incidents will be invaluable in maintaining our reputation as a trusted provider of services.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation, monitoring, and tracking of organizational data protection policies and procedures.
- Partner with stakeholders to provide guidance on managing data breaches and incidents in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct impact and risk assessments to identify potential data protection risks.
- Respond to data requests and provide guidance to strengthen data management practices.
- Conduct regular data protection audits and collaborate with stakeholders to integrate data protection measures into business processes.
- Facilitate and provide training, briefings, and guidance in data protection best practices.
- Handle internal (staff) and external (public) queries.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in data protection legislation, policies, and industry best practices.
- Support departmental operations and administrative matters.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable public speaking, collaborating, and engaging with various stakeholders.
