We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance/Control (QC) Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services meets customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities- The Senior QC Engineer will develop and implement quality control processes, analyzing quality data, and recommending corrective actions.
- They will prepare Project Quality plans and Inspection Test plans according to project specifications.
- The engineer will conduct stage-wise inspections including material, fit-up, visual, bolt tightening, painting, fabrication, and erection works.
- They will review and witness non-destructive testing such as ultrasonic testing and magnetic particle testing.
- The Senior QC Engineer will liaise with Project Managers/Engineers for day-to-day inspection activities.
- They will maintain good documentation and undertake duties as assigned by the HOD.
- The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma/Degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (welding works) in construction or related industry is required.
- The candidate should hold a certificate of CSWIP 3.1/3.2 or AWS CWI/SCWI.
- Experience in inspection activities in fabrication and erection works is necessary.
- The candidate should have computer proficiency in MS Office/Excel/MS Word/PowerPoint.
- Knowledgeable in codes like ASME / AWS D1.1/ BS EN and ISO standards.
