Senior Quality Professional Job Description

Our organization is seeking a skilled Senior Quality Professional to oversee our quality management system, ensuring compliance with international and national standards. This individual will be responsible for conducting audits, managing quality control processes, and leading initiatives to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and establish company quality procedures, standards, and specifications.
  • Review customer requirements and ensure they are met.
  • Work with procurement teams to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
  • Set standards for quality and health and safety.
  • Evaluate manufacturing or production processes against international and national standards.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineers to define quality procedures.
  • Establish and maintain quality controls and documentation procedures.
  • Monitor company quality performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
  • Review existing policies and suggest changes and improvements.
  • Analyze team performance, identifying areas of weakness and recommending improvements.
  • Assess the effectiveness of implemented changes.
  • Use relevant quality tools and educate managers, engineers, and staff on how to improve the business.
  • Maintain competitiveness by ensuring the company operates effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Precision Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in plastic injection manufacturing is preferred.
  • Able to perform internal and external auditing related to ISO system requirements.
  • Knowledge in Supplier Management.
  • Familiarity with quality Management Standards such as ISO 9001, 14001, 13485, and others.
  • Understanding of PFMEA, Control Plans, and GR&R.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire the project team.
  • Ability to analyze, solve problems, and make decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills with a can-do attitude.
