Senior Plant Molecular Biologist

The Research Fellow will work closely with Associate Professor Lau On Sun on an exciting project investigating the development of stomata in plants. This role is perfect for an experienced molecular biologist looking to expand their knowledge in plant research.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead a project focused on studying how stomatal stem cells initiate and sustain a transcriptional cascade for their specification and proliferation.
- Mentor and train junior members in the lab, providing guidance on advanced molecular biology techniques.
Requirements:
We are seeking a highly skilled candidate with a Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related field. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of laboratory experience in molecular genetics, specifically in Arabidopsis. Proficiency in basic and advanced molecular biology, biochemical, and genetic techniques, as well as expertise in microscopic analyses, is essential.
