Job Summary

We are seeking a Food Service Assistant to play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive high-quality food and exemplary service in a friendly and timely manner.

Main Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Delivery: Prepare and deliver complete and accurate trays of food to patients, verifying meal selections and rectifying any mistakes as needed.
  • Cold/Hot Production: Participate in cold/hot production to prepare select food items for meal service, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintenance and Sanitation: Operate equipment such as coffeemakers, toasters, microwaves, and other necessary equipment for meal service, cleaning and sanitizing them according to departmental policy.
  • Data Collection: Monitor, collect, and record operation-specific data for administrative purposes.
  • Team Support: Assist with plating tasks, on-the-job training of new team members, and perform other duties as assigned by the Food Service Manager.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum GCE 'N' level and above.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills in written and spoken English.
  • Previous Experience: Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
