Automation Leader

We are seeking an experienced Automation Leader to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to automate various manufacturing processes and operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in automation, with experience in designing, configuring, and maintaining automated systems. They will also have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of automation professionals.

  • Develop and implement strategies to automate manufacturing processes and operations
  • Lead a team of automation engineers and technicians to design, configure, and maintain automated systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements
  • Analyse data and metrics to continually optimize the performance of automated processes
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an automation, medical or manufacturing engineering role
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing and optimizing automated systems
  • Strong technical expertise in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial robotics
  • Knowledge in ISO9001, ISO13485, TS16949, familiar with FMEA, PPAP, APQP and IOPQ
  • Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of automation professionals
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to industrial automation
