Job Title: Merchandise Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Merchandise Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product development, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating innovative products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and introducing new merchandise products, from conceptualization to production stage. This will involve working closely with designers and suppliers to create initial concepts, selecting suppliers, and overseeing the production process to ensure timely delivery.

The role also requires a high level of communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including design, purchasing, and shop operations. Additionally, the candidate must be able to identify new market trends and innovations, contribute ideas to management and cross-functional teams, and undertake other ad-hoc projects as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and introduce new merchandise products from conceptualization to production stage.
  • Work closely with designers and suppliers to create initial concepts and oversee production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Memorabilia merchandise development and sourcing experience in hardline or softline preferred.
  • Minimum one year experience in related field (fresh graduate welcome).
  • Team player with ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness.
  • Familiar with product manufacturing knowledge and understands regulations across Asia countries.
  • Knowledge of product development process from conceptualization to product delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills with an intuitive approach to varied personalities and attention to details.
  • Well-organized with good time management skills in managing multiple projects.
  • Capable of problem-solving skills, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
