**Job Title:** Senior Architectural Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill this critical role. In this capacity, you will be responsible for meeting with clients and other involved professionals to agree on project briefs, developing project briefs and working on these as the project progresses.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare planning applications and regulatory procedures;
  • Develop design proposals using computer-aided design (CAD) and traditional drawing methods;
  • Assist in detailed design process and coordinate design information;
  • Prepare/update tender documentation and construction drawings;
  • Liaise with authorities to obtain statutory approval;
  • Attend site visits and record minutes/discussions;
  • Assist project architect in coordinating site issues;
  • Produce and analyse detailed specifications for materials or processes;
  • Understand how design aspects influence performance and functional issues;
  • Coordinate and liaise with consultants on the project team;
  • Advise clients on procuring contracts;
  • Lead preparation of tender documentation and construction drawings;
  • Administer contracts and project certifications;
  • Obtain feedback from clients;
  • Making site visits to check progress and ensure projects run within agreed timescales;
  • Solve problems that occur during building/construction stage;
  • Carry out defect inspections.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Minimum 8 years experience in architectural industry in Singapore or Malaysia;
  • Able to work within a team and fast-paced environment;
  • Familiar with building regulations (Singapore or Malaysia);
  • Strong Portfolio;
  • Good working attitude, proactive and conscientious.
