Lead Researcher Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Researcher to join our research team.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Computational Biology or Bioinformatics with relevant research experience and training. They will be responsible for designing and executing experimental research, writing and reviewing research papers, and developing plans for independent research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute experimental research.
  • Write and review research papers, present research outcomes.
  • Develop plans for independent research.
  • Support external grant/protocol development, study design and management of research activities.
  • Contribute to occasional educational/instructional activities and project management.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to undergraduate/medical students and research assistants.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A PhD in Computational Biology or Bioinformatics with relevant research experience and training.
  • Knowledge of the scientific background relevant to the research area and laboratory experimental skills.
  • A system-level understanding of human pathology and laboratory expertise in data integration and interpretation.
  • A proven track record in the form of high-impact publications.
  • Demonstrated capability of research independence progressively.
  • Strong writing and critical thinking skills, as well as good communication and presentation skills.
