Job Title: Ship Repair Foreman

Job Description
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ship Repair Foreman to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the repair and maintenance of ship engines, including mechanical overhauling, reconditioning, and repairs.
  • He/She will also be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with ISO standards and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the marine industry, with a strong background in engine repair and maintenance.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Performing mechanical overhauling, reconditioning, and repairs of 4-stroke and 2-stroke engine parts
  2. Identifying parts that need to be replaced and ordering replacement parts or services as needed
  3. Preparing inspection reports and calibration reports
  4. Assisting in preparing spare requisitions
  5. Interpreting technical drawings and documents to determine appropriate repair parts and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in the marine industry
  • Strong background in engine repair and maintenance
  • Knowledge of high-speed engines
  • Possession of a technical trade certificate or equivalent qualification
