Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Data Center Engineer in Singapore.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot infrastructure system health and resolve any technical issues that arise.
  • Deploy, configure and manage Linux server operating systems.
  • Manage data center assets and inventory records.
  • Prepare accurate documentation and reports for auditing and tracking purposes.
  • Collaborate with data center partners to ensure facilities such as cooling systems, fire suppression systems, UPS systems and others are working properly and meet our requirements.
Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining high levels of system uptime and resolving technical issues promptly.
  • Managing and configuring Linux server operating systems.
  • Coordinating with the data center team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Documenting and reporting technical issues and resolutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum Diploma in Information Technology, Telecommunication/Computer Engineering or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience in Data Center operations and familiarity with facility management, server hardware and network equipment.
  • Familiarity with Linux, Windows servers and VMware operating systems.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work efficiently under pressure.
  • High-potential fresh graduates with no prior experience are welcome. An accelerated new hire training program and apprenticeship schemes will be provided.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus due to regional coverage.
