
Senior South Indian Cook

We are seeking an experienced and skilled South Indian cook to assist the head cook in our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor food production, safety, and hygiene practices in a fast-paced environment.
- Mixing and preparing authentic South Indian spices for cooking each day.
- Preparing and cooking various South Indian cuisines, including Chettinad dishes, Biryani varieties, and traditional breakfast items like Prata, Dosa, Rice, Appam, Idli, Pakoda, Chapatti, Vadai, Sambar, and chutneys.
- Familiarity with Malaysian Indian cuisine is beneficial, as well as experience making sambal for Mee Goreng.
Required Skills:
- Effective recipes and ingredient management techniques.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and quality control principles.
- Experience with inventory management, sanitation procedures, and baking tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience is required for this position. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for South Indian cuisine and excellent communication skills.
