Job Title: Backup Specialist

The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical expertise in backup and recovery solutions, with a focus on NetBackup technology. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team environment are essential requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in interpreting NetBackup OpsCenter/NetBackup IT Analytics backup reports.
  • Provide support for backup and recovery-related activities.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve NetBackup-related issues.
  • Contribute to technical discussions and provide guidance on best practices for NetBackup implementation.
  • Execute relevant patches and collect logs for NetBackup support cases.
Required Skills:
  • Expertise in backup and recovery technologies, particularly NetBackup.
  • Strong understanding of data storage systems and related technologies.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with backup and recovery technologies, including NetBackup.
  • Knowledge of data storage systems and related technologies, such as Veritas Storage Foundation and Data Storage Systems.
  • Familiarity with database backups and backup software.
