Occupational Safety and Health Inspector Role

The role requires a strong understanding of occupational safety and health principles to conduct inspections, investigations, and audits.

Job Description:

  • Enter and inspect workplaces, performing checks on working conditions, conducting interviews, and debriefing as prescribed in the standard operating procedure.
  • Conduct basic accident investigations (if applicable).
  • Ensure proper recording of the entire inspection process with proper use of a body-worn camera.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least three 'O' Level passes (or equivalent), or five 'N' Level passes (or equivalent), and at least 3 years' experience in enforcement work; or an engineering diploma and at least one year of experience in enforcement work.
  • Preferably has work experience in roles that require inter-personal skills, investigation, and audit.
  • Has successfully completed the Specialist Diploma in WSH (Level C WSH Officer) course conducted by a training provider accredited under the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications framework.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Able to read, write, and speak fluently in English.
