Job Title

As a large scale events coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning, coordination and delivery.

  • Develop comprehensive event plans, including budgeting, scheduling, vendor management and on-site coordination
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, clients and external suppliers to guarantee successful event delivery
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, troubleshoot issues and implement contingency plans as needed
  • Measure and analyze event performance, providing detailed post-event reports and recommendations for improvement
  • Manage a team of event coordinators, providing guidance, mentorship and performance feedback
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the company's event capabilities
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in event project management, preferably within the marketing and communications field
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-profile events to a consistently high standard
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize and work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the confidence to liaise with clients and suppliers
  • Adaptable and resourceful, with a solutions-focused mindset to overcome challenges
  • Proficient in event management software and tools
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in event management, marketing or a related discipline
