Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lift & Escalator Installation & Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of installing and repairing elevators and escalators in various settings.

About the Role
  • Installation and repair of elevators and escalators, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Working at different job sites on a daily basis, requiring adaptability and flexibility.
  • Island-wide deployment, necessitating effective time management and travel planning.
  • Monday to Friday working hours (0730hrs to 1730hrs) and Saturday (0730hrs to 1230hrs), with occasional requirement to work outside regular hours.
  • Must be able to work on public holidays if required, demonstrating commitment to customer service.
  • Urgent repairs due to lift or escalator breakdown may require short notice deployment, necessitating exceptional communication skills.
Required Skills
  • Preventive Maintenance: Proven ability to perform regular maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures.
  • Troubleshooting: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Construction: Experience with construction-related tasks, such as building and assembling elevator and escalator components.
  • Hardware: Knowledge of hardware components, including mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Wiring: Familiarity with wiring and electrical systems, ensuring safe and efficient installation.
  • Electrical: Understanding of electrical principles and practices, applicable to elevator and escalator systems.
  • Construction Safety: Adherence to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Welding: Basic welding skills, useful for assembly and repair of elevator and escalator components.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, essential for collaborating with colleagues and clients.
  • Electronics: Familiarity with electronic systems and components, relevant to modern elevator and escalator technology.
