Project Manager

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operation of assigned projects in accordance with company policies.
  • Monitor project performance, subcontractors and resolve problems that arise during and after project completion.
  • Communicate and implement company policies to project teams for effective implementation.
  • Identify potential construction problems, instigate preventive measures, standardize techniques related to selective construction processes.
  • Review, advise and resolve contractual and technical matters, comment on subcontracts related to projects.
  • Chair internal project review meetings with project teams and report performance to directors.
  • Establish, develop, monitor and maintain project budgets, programs, resource allocation, quality plans, environmental issues and safety plans in accordance with company requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, architects and consultants for project performance and coordination.

Requirements

  • Degree in Building, Civil or Structural Engineering or other construction-related subjects.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with at least 2 years in managerial roles in the construction industry.
  • Strong management, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Candidates must possess a diploma, advanced diploma, higher diploma, bachelor's degree, postgraduate diploma, professional degree or master's degree in any field.
  • Able to communicate in English and Chinese to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates.
