Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and calibrating SCG Cell Therapy's production and QC facilities, as well as all associated equipment. They must possess expert knowledge in facility and equipment-related queries, with a thorough understanding of cleanroom operations and pharmaceutical or medical device production environments.

  • Manage the maintenance and upkeep of GMP-related equipment and facilities, including routine and preventive maintenance, calibration, repair works, and replenishment of facility-related consumables.
  • Lead engineering feasibility studies and commissioning projects, where applicable.
  • Perform basic inspection, maintenance, and servicing of facility equipment, as well as testing of safety equipment such as eye washes and showers.
  • Provide technical support and guidance during risk assessment and mitigation activities.
  • Respond promptly to unplanned facility-related excursions, including emergencies that may occur after office hours or weekends.
  • Draft and update facility-related SOPs as needed.
  • Ensure timely completion of relevant records and documentation.
  • Oversee activities carried out by facility-related vendors and ensure compliance with GMP and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering, and possess at least 2 years of experience maintaining GMP cleanrooms or 5 years of experience with similar controlled environment facilities. Familiarity with PIC/S GMP requirements is a plus, as is hands-on experience working with chilled water ACMV systems and prior HSE experience.
