- Collaboration: Work closely with the resident's doctor and multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Assessments: Conduct and supervise assessments of new admissions, and prepare medical records as needed.
- Teamwork: Coordinate teamwork to deliver quality service to residents and families.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a safe and clean ward environment, and work with the team to monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care.
- Staff Development: Participate in training and development of staff, including regular assessments of competencies.
- New Staff Orientation: Orient and induct newly joined nurses and other staff members to provide safe care to residents.
- Motivation and Compliance: Use performance management and counselling skills to motivate staff and ensure compliance with standards of practice.
- Confidentiality and Relationships: Maintain confidentiality and ensure effective working relationships within the Nursing Department and with external customer groups.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience or fresh graduates welcome to apply.
- Qualifications: Diploma in Nursing or related field required.
- Work Schedule: 5 days work week, rotating off days; only morning or afternoon shifts required.
