Job Title: Food Service Team Lead


  • We are seeking an experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring high-quality food preparation.
  • This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare ingredients by following recipes; slice, chop, mince, stir, whip, and mix ingredients; add seasonings; verify taste; plate meals.
  • Complete hot meal preparation by grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, and boiling ingredients and assemble and refrigerate cold ingredients.
  • Adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintain temperature and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) logs as required and maintain appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items.
  • Contribute to daily, holiday, and theme menus in collaboration with the supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas.
  • Complete cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules and dishwashing/pot washing.
  • Listen to customer complaints and suggestions and resolve complaints.
  • Implement suggestions within parameter of position and refer more complex concerns to the supervisor.
  • Participate in and/or contribute to programs, committees, or projects designed to improve quality of service and employee productivity.
