Job Title: Financial Operations Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial operations manager to oversee the financial health of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing liquidity, cash management, and funding needs. They will also analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and company performance compared to business plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize firm's liquidity, cash management, and funding needs by analyzing financial data and making informed decisions.
- Maintain financial health of the organization by ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and company performance compared to business plans to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting to stakeholders.
- Develop trends and projections for company finances to inform strategic decision-making.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities and implement recommendations.
- Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals, and objectives to drive productivity and efficiency.
- Manage budget preparation and liaise with auditors to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collate, prepare, and interpret reports, budgets, accounts commentaries, and financial statements to provide insights for stakeholders.
- Undertake strategic analysis and assist with strategic planning to drive business growth and success.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Accountancy or equivalent, along with a minimum of 10 years of accounting experience. They should have strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial/management reporting, and Singapore, Malaysia, and Myanmar accounting practices. Additionally, they should have capabilities and experience to supervise, manage, and lead staff, as well as good technical skills in financial modeling and financial analysis.
