Job Description:

As a skilled language editor, you will be responsible for editing and polishing academic papers to improve language clarity, grammatical accuracy, readability, stylistic consistency, fluency, formatting, and adherence to international journal standards. Your duties will include reviewing and adjusting reference formats, tables, figures, and other academic conventions according to journal requirements to ensure compliance with submission guidelines.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. A Master's degree or higher in a related field of social sciences is preferred.
  2. Solid knowledge of social science disciplines with the ability to understand and edit related professional terminology and academic content.
  3. Native English speakers are preferred, but proficient English speakers with strong writing and editing skills are also considered.
  4. Familiarity with international academic journal submission and editing standards, including knowledge of the Layout Manual of Style.
  5. Strong communication skills and team collaboration spirit, able to maintain good working relationships with authors, reviewers, and other editorial staff.
