Singapore ORBIT ACADEMIC CENTRE Full time

Established educational centre operating for more than 30 years is looking to recruit part-time English Teacher to support Japanese students in learning the English language. If you have prior experience in teaching the English Language to International students, we would like to hear from you.

**Job Description
**Plan, Teach, Evaluate and Manage Class**

Preparation for lessons:

- establish clear objectives for all lessons and units, deliver lessons according to objectives
- lesson planning according to teaching curriculum
- develop and create interactive course materials to address Read, Listen, Write, Speak

Conduct lessons & manage class:

- delivery of lessons according to curriculum
- explain, communicate basic principles of grammar
- through creative and engaging activities, create opportunities to practise the language in Read, Listen, Speak and Write
- establish routines and enforce age-appropriate class management procedures
- grade and provide feedback to students on their work

Evaluate:

- provide timely review of students’ performance

**Qualifications & Requirements**

1. Minimum Diploma and above with good credit in English Language

2. At least 3 years in teaching Academic English as a second language to international students (ESL).

3. Experience in TOEFL or IELTS examinations is advantageous.

4. Good in written and spoken English

5. Patience and dedication to work with international students who have limited English language skills

6. Good sense of initiative, responsibility and punctuality.

**Work hours available**:
Monday & Wednesday: 1600hr-2130hr
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 1600hr-1830hr
Saturday: 1500hr-1700hr

Remuneration: $40-$60/hr (depending on qualification & experience) ($1000-$2000)
