Responsibilities:
  • Solution Design and Development (Microsoft Services)

The successful candidate will be responsible for solution design and development, including requirement gathering, solution architecture, customization and development, workflow automation, forms development and integration with enterprise systems and third-party tools.

  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business needs into technical requirements for Microsoft 365 applications, including Sharepoint.
  • Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end architecture for Microsoft 365 (Sharepoint Online/On-Premise, Teams, OneDrive, etc.) including site structures, workflows, forms and custom apps.
  • Customization and Development: Develop/customize Microsoft 365 solutions using out-of-the-box features, SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and custom code (JavaScript, .NET, SPFx).
  • Workflow Automation: Design and implement automated workflows to streamline business processes using SharePoint workflows and Power Automate.
  • Forms Development: Create user-friendly forms via SharePoint lists, Microsoft Forms and Power Apps.
  • Integration: Integrate Microsoft 365 apps with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP) and third-party tools.
  • Branding & UI: Ensure Microsoft 365 solutions reflect the organization's branding and offer a consistent, user-friendly interface.

Microsoft Services Environment Management and Administration

  • Site Collection & Site Management: Oversee the creation, configuration and maintenance of Sharepoint site collections and subsites.
  • Permissions & Security: Manage user access, permissions and groups to ensure security and compliance.
  • Content Management: Enforce policies and best practices for content lifecycle and data integrity.
  • Feature Configuration: Configure and manage Microsoft 365 features to meet business requirements.
  • Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor environment health/performance and resolve technical issues.
  • Governance & Best Practices: Define and enforce governance plans, information architecture and metadata strategies.
  • Upgrades & Migrations: Lead migrations (e.g., from on-prem to Sharepoint Online) and upgrade planning using appropriate tools.

Collaboration and Support

  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with users, IT teams and leadership.
  • User Support & Training: Provide technical support, create user documentation and conduct training sessions.
  • Collaboration with IT Teams: Work closely with network, security and infrastructure teams for seamless operations.
  • Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex issues in Microsoft 365 applications/environments.

Leadership and Strategy

  • Technical Leadership: Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
  • Project Management: Manage end-to-end Microsoft 365 projects from planning to execution.
  • Staying Updated: Keep up with new Microsoft 365 features, updates and best practices.
  • Strategic Input: Offer recommendations to enhance digital workplace strategy via M365 tools.
  • Innovation: Identify and promote new features/technologies to drive business improvements.
  • Architecture Leadership: Lead architecture design for scalable, secure and high-performing M365 environments.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of X members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
  • 8+ years' experience in Microsoft 365 design, development and management, including Sharepoint (Online & On-Premise).
  • Strong understanding of Sharepoint architecture and infrastructure, M365 services and integration (Teams, OneDrive, Exchange), Microsoft 365 security, permissions and user management, governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in Sharepoint customization (OOTB, Designer, Power Platform, JavaScript, .NET, SPFx), Microsoft 365 migrations and upgrades.
  • Excellent leadership, team management and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with current Sharepoint and M365 service versions.
  • Desired Certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate.
