Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software Engineer with deep expertise in SharePoint technologies to lead and execute the migration of site collections from SharePoint On-Premises (2016/2019) to SharePoint Online. The ideal candidate will also design and develop custom applications using SPFx in SharePoint Online, administer SharePoint Online environments, and produce comprehensive reports for content discovery, inventory, and permissions auditing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop responsive, scalable web parts and extensions using TypeScript.
  • Design and implement custom software or scripts to meet business requirements.
  • Have strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and security best practices.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and Microsoft Graph for enhanced functionality.
  • Configure and manage SharePoint Online features including site templates, content types, metadata, and retention policies.
  • Plan and execute migrations from SharePoint 2016/2019 to SharePoint Online.
  • Administer SharePoint Online, monitor usage analytics, storage quotas, performance metrics, and generate reports.
  • Design Power Automate flows for document management, approvals, and notifications.
  • Generate reports using PowerShell and PnP.
  • Conduct code reviews and testing.
  • Maintain, support, and enhance existing applications.
  • Prepare documentation, including design specifications and user acceptance test documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in development using SharePoint on prem / SharePoint Online.
  • More experienced candidates will be considered for senior positions.
  • Experience in scripting languages such as SPFx, React, TypeScript, PnP JS, Microsoft Graph, and C#.
  • Tools and Technologies to be familiar with Sharegate, Metalogix, PowerShell, CSOM.
  • Good understanding of Web Services API, Power Automate, Dataverse.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and security best practices.
  • Skilled in technical/application design documentation.
  • Hands-on working experience with HTML, XML, and object-oriented methodologies.
  • Good programming and analytical skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
