Food Service Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Food Service Associate.

This role involves assisting in food preparation and providing exceptional service to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation according to standard operating procedures.
  • Receive training and work across all kitchen stations, including gunkan, side dishes, kaburi, and grilled items.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area at all times.
  • Adhere to food handling hygiene standards, including performing dishwashing duties.
  • Follow instructions from the supervisor.
Customer Service
  1. Deliver courteous and efficient food and beverage services to customers.
  2. Ensure a seamless dining experience by following our customer service guidelines:
  • Greetings/Hosting: Welcome guests warmly and assist with seating.
  • Pre-Dining Introduction: Provide an overview of the menu and special offerings.
  • Table Management: Ensure guests' needs are met throughout their meal.
  • Billing Settlement: Handle cashiering duties efficiently and accurately.
  • Table Setting and Clearing: Set up and clear tables promptly and professionally.
Closing and Cleaning Duties
  • Perform closing tasks such as dishwashing, cleaning of service stations, and maintaining a clean and tidy dining floor.
  • Undertake duties including cleaning the service belt, clearing plates to the kitchen, and sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Participate in cleaning of service/dining areas during non-peak hours as instructed by the manager or designated supervisor.
  • Participate in scheduled monthly outlet cleaning sessions.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude, proactive and enthusiastic
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks, handle physically demanding conditions
  • Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Preferably with food hygiene certification but not mandatory
  • Candidates without working experience are welcome to apply as training will be provided
