Electrochemical Sensor Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Electrochemical Sensor Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in sensor fabrication, analytical chemistry, and electrochemical techniques.

The position involves designing, fabricating, and characterizing electrochemical sensors for biomedical diagnostics, with a focus on hormone detection and point-of-care systems.

  • Design and develop electrochemical sensors for hormone detection, including surface functionalization and performance testing.
  • Perform laboratory validation using appropriate analytical methods and tools.
  • Apply advanced electrochemical techniques such as Chronoamperometry, Cyclic Voltammetry, and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate sensors into point-of-care diagnostic platforms.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data, and prepare technical reports and publications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop electrochemical sensors for hormone detection, including design, fabrication, and characterization.

Perform laboratory validation of electrochemical sensors, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

Apply advanced electrochemical techniques to improve sensor performance and efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sensors into diagnostic platforms.

Prepare technical reports and publications detailing experimental results and findings.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • PhD in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Strong background in analytical chemistry and electrodeposition techniques.
  • Familiarity with clinical biomarkers and diagnostic workflows.
  • Experience with hormone detection, particularly cortisol, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
