Electrochemist Job Opportunity

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled electrochemist to join our research team. The successful candidate will work on developing new materials and methods for improving lithium-ion battery performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To discover new catalysts using Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations
  • To study the properties of these catalysts using DFT simulations
  • To develop high-throughput screening and machine learning techniques to integrate into DFT calculations

Qualifications:

  • PhD degree in Materials Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics or a closely related field
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to guide undergraduate students to conduct projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experiences in DFT-based high-throughput calculations and electrochemistry
  • Experiences in batteries and machine learning
