Senior Electrochemist

Our research team seeks a Senior Electrochemist to develop innovative electrochemical sensing technologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and fabricating solid-state, surface-based sensors for real-time detection of analytes on complex surfaces.

We require a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry, Chemistry, Materials Science or related disciplines, with strong experimental background in electrochemical system design, electrode/electrolyte interface engineering, and battery or sensor fabrication.

The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in characterization techniques (e.g., SEM, XPS, XRD) and ability to design and fabricate device prototypes for innovative applications. A strong track record of publications in high-impact journals is also required.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrochemical sensing interfaces for fluid-free detection of solid-state analytes.
• Engineer adhesive interfacial layers and hybrid materials for stable, selective, and sensitive solid-surface chemo-sensing.
• Integrate electrochemical systems with in-situ and ex-situ characterization methods to study sensor performance and degradation mechanisms.
• Contribute to system-level optimization of sensor signal quality and environmental stability.

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related disciplines.
