Job Title: Software Development Quality Assurance Specialist

Key Responsibilities of a Performance Tester include collaborating with software quality engineers/managers to understand performance testing requirements and develop test plans.

Evaluating application architectures, designing performance tests, establishing objectives, acceptance criteria, workload profiles, and use case scenarios are essential tasks. Furthermore, measuring, analyzing, and reporting on performance data (workload, system, and application) is critical.

Complex problems must be solved, clear recommendations provided, and seamless integration of performance testing into the software development lifecycle ensured. Key responsibilities also involve ensuring high-quality software products through effective testing methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required.
  • At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end performance testing lifecycle and methodology are necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of C programming and Core Java is essential.
  • In-depth experience working with Micro-focus LoadRunner enterprise and LoadRunner Cloud is required.
  • Experience in mobile performance testing for Android and iOS devices is necessary.
  • Good understanding of mobile automation and ADB command usage is required.
  • Experience in defining test metrics, conducting analysis, and result reporting is necessary.
  • Experience with performance monitors like Dynatrace, Cloudwatch, Prometheus, and APM is required.
  • Test automation tool expertise, preferably Katalon or Selenium, is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently are necessary.
