Job Title: Electrical and Mechanical Professional">

Our organization seeks an experienced electrical and mechanical expert to oversee all aspects of mechanical and electrical engineering activities, including project feasibility studies, procurement, construction, and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Cost Management:
    • Responsible for planning, cost management, and quality & progress monitoring of M&E works, ensuring timely completion of projects within budget.
  • Installation and Coordination of M&E Systems:
    • Installation and coordination of all M&E systems including lighting, power, water services, ventilation, air conditioning, and fire safety, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Review and Interpretation of M&E Drawings and Specifications:
    • Review and interpret M&E drawings and specifications; propose optimizations for site-specific performance and durability, enhancing the overall value of the project.
  • Progress Control:
    • Control the progress of RFI, RFA, Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions, and Equipment/Material Procurement/Fabrication/Delivery Status for on-time project completion, minimizing delays and rework.
  • Client and Consultant Coordination:
    • Coordinate with client's representatives, consultants, and subcontractors on all technical matters, including submission of method statement, drawings, materials, samples, and work progress, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance:
    • Ensure mechanical and electrical engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with established policies and objectives, maintaining high standards of quality and integrity.
  • Site Inspections and Testing:
    • Conduct regular site inspections, testing & commissioning, and implement QA/QC procedures, verifying compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Technical Coordination Meetings:
    • Responsible for carrying out technical coordination meetings and resolving technical issues with record, fostering open communication and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • QA/QC Inspection and Clearance:
    • Conduct QA/QC inspection, manage RE, RTO, and clear QA/QC inspections to meet with construction schedule, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Work Quality:
    • Ensure quality of MEP workmanship and compliance with safety and environmental requirements, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and excellence.
Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Strong experience in electrical and mechanical engineering, preferably with a background in project management.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
  • High level of organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
