Expertise in Mechanical and Electrical Systems Wanted

A leading organization is looking for a site-based Technical Officer. This professional will be responsible for ensuring all mechanical and electrical installations meet design specifications, local codes, and regulatory standards. The key responsibilities include:
1. Installation Oversight:
Supervising the installation of HVAC, fire protection, piping, and electrical systems.
2. Compliance Assurance:
Ensuring work meets relevant regulatory codes and assisting with submissions for Facility Safety Certification and Technical Advisory Board approval.
3. Quality Control:
Conducting site checks and witnessing tests to ensure satisfactory completion of work.
4. Conflict Resolution:
Resolving on-site conflicts by working with design teams and maintaining accurate documentation.
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:
Registered Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Resident Technical Officer with BCA Singapore.
Experience:
At least 15 years of site experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or Good Manufacturing Practices projects.
Skills:
Proficient in reading M&E drawings and knowledgeable about relevant regulatory processes.
Bonus:
Experience with Building Information Modeling viewers, Navisworks, or GMP validation support is an advantage.
