Community Building Expert

You will be a multifaceted professional responsible for creating an inclusive and collaborative community. The role is diverse, with tasks ranging from welcoming new guests to engaging with existing residents in the social spaces. You will report to the Senior or Chief Community Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Experience
a. Assist residents with their check-in process via mobile app or kiosk.
b. Encourage members to download the Discover app to explore and interact with the lyf community.
c. Explore the various functions of the app with residents, including mobile key, messaging and making ancillary purchases (if available).
d. Handle guest queries and facilitate communication and requests.

2. Operational Efficiency
a. Monitor room availability using the hotel's property management system. Ensure processes are carried out in accordance with corporate guidelines. Perform book-keeping activities when necessary. Assist the housekeeping department with regular rounds to maintain the cleanliness of the property, especially the social spaces. Handle walk-ins, emails, and phone inquiries. Execute light housekeeping/engineering duties and liaise with outsourced contractors for cleaning and maintenance when required.

3. Community Development
a. Notice guest preferences and manage their profiles. Assist in curating an event calendar for in-house guests and executing community initiatives. Proactively interact with guests to obtain constructive recommendations that enhance their stay experience.

Job Requirements:

As a Community Manager, you should be:

- Dynamic and self-motivated with strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- A passionate individual with a passion for entrepreneurial, tech, creative, and collaborative communities.
- Knowledgeable about current trends and happenings.
- A people person and doer, ready to get hands-on.
- Someone with attention to detail and the ability to anticipate and react to guests' demands.
- Tech-savvy, able to pick up and use new systems and technology solutions easily.
