As a Senior Marketing Executive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute impactful editorial strategies that elevate the mission and humanitarian efforts of our institution.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in content creation, with expertise in writing, editing, and proofreading. Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Suite is also essential. Familiarity with social media and new media content creation is a significant advantage.

You will be responsible for crafting compelling stories, speeches, features, and articles that showcase the impact of our programmes, staff, volunteers, and partners. This includes developing and executing editorial and communication strategies to highlight our humanitarian initiatives and services.

In addition to your creative skills, you will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams. You must be self-motivated, organised, and resourceful, with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing editorial and communication strategies
  • Crafting compelling stories, speeches, features, and articles
  • Managing the end-to-end editorial workflow from ideation to publication
  • Overseeing assignments and deadlines to ensure a steady stream of impactful stories

Qualifications and skills required:

  • At least 5 years' experience in editorial writing, journalism, or communications
  • Proven ability to produce impactful editorial content for diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, with a second language (Mandarin, Malay, or Tamil) an advantage
  • Strong background in content creation, editorial planning, and writing for impact
  • Experience in NGOs, NPOs, or charities will be an advantage
