Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the implementation of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities on our construction and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all M&E works are completed on time, in compliance with industry standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Lead the site team, including engineers and coordinators, to ensure quality performance meets client requirements.
- Attend project site meetings and resolve technical issues.
- Oversee the timely submission of M&E shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements.
- Guide staff and subcontractors to carry out work in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
- Monitor M&E progress and report any issues to HQ.
- Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Review consultant technical specifications and identify discrepancies related to M&E matters.
- Manage monthly meetings to oversee M&E matters across the project spectrum.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering or architecture.
- Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in construction or infrastructure project management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with industry standard software and tools.
