This role involves managing commercial operations and risk management initiatives across the entire deal lifecycle. You will be responsible for contract negotiation, compliance with contract commitments, and commercial risk assessment.
You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that all contractual documents are reviewed and finalized in a timely manner. This includes reviewing and redlining customer terms and conditions, as well as leading and finalizing contractual schemes and industrial models.
In addition, you will be responsible for identifying and registering risks in the Risk Assessment Matrix tool and Salesforce. You will also lead risk review sessions to drive early engagement and strategy development.
Your goal is to develop consistent operations in the ITO phase, adherent to policies, processes, and metrics. You will also support ITO teams by applying KPIs and challenging risk/opportunity assessment.
Furthermore, you will partner with Region Sales teams in strategy development to create winning proposals and meet or exceed regional plans for orders and financial KPIs.
You will support large and complex projects from inquiry to close-out, establish project-specific contractual procedures, and provide support and guidance on general contractual issues and claims.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal, Engineering, or related field from an accredited university or college.
- At least 10 years of experience in Commercial Operations, Contract Management, Risk Mitigation, Tendering, Bid management, and/or project management role from energy industries such as Grid, Wind, Power, or Oil and Gas.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
