Role Overview

A challenging role awaits a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to turn concepts into high-precision designs ranging from automation equipment to custom jigs and fixtures that optimize productivity and ensure top-quality outcomes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop design layouts and manufacturing drawings for automation systems, jigs, and fixtures using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
  • Collaborate with project teams and clients to ensure technical specifications and objectives are met
  • Support process improvement efforts to enhance design quality, workflow efficiency, and product performance

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience: Ideally 1 year in automation machinery or jig/fixture design; entry-level candidates with strong portfolios are welcome (training provided)
  • Education: Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma / Degree in any engineering discipline
  • Skills: Skilled in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks; effective communicator; proactive; strong team player
