Key Responsibilities
  • Create new business opportunities by establishing contact with target accounts, decision-makers, and potential customers.
  • Research and analyse market strategies, as well as assess deal requirements to identify potential corporate transactions.
  • Collaborate with local, regional, and international teams to close new business agreements.
  • Pursue enduring working relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at various management levels in target organisations.
  • Build and maintain connections with influencers, contractors, and end-users.
  • Develop possibility pipelines with end-users and sales teams, moving through sales stages until deals are closed.
  • Ensure accurate information entry into PS's sales/project management and CRM systems.
  • Establish sales volume goals and budgetary estimates for the SEA DC market.
  • Work with sales teams to determine the appropriate level of distribution engagement to ensure deal success.
  • Provide project support for distribution network pricing and quote tactics.
  • Qualify strategic alliances to increase the reach of PS's products, services, and solutions.
  • Support business networking to penetrate new markets.
  • Offer dealers and distribution partners technical and marketing support on data centre-related matters.
  • Analyse sales and market statistics to provide top management with data-driven insights.
  • Participate in trade shows and associations to promote PS.
  • Develop technical papers and whitepapers for marketing material, trade publications, and conferences.
  • Establish expertise in industry standards, data centre power products, and total on-site power system design and integration.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree (mechanical or electrical) and at least eight years of experience in sales related to the power generating industry.
  • Strong track record of direct and channel sales, with the ability to communicate and negotiate with decision-makers and senior executives.
  • Result-oriented, with a strong desire to succeed in a competitive business environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-player mentality.
  • Able to work autonomously and frequently travel for business purposes.
  • Experience in the data centre field is crucial for the expansion of PS's business, with a strong technical understanding of power generation solutions and products.
  • Knowledge of industry norms and specifications is essential.
