ROV Engineer Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of ROV Engineer . The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of ROV systems and equipment prior to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:- To prepare, test, and maintain ROV systems and equipment in accordance with industry standards.
- To conduct workshops and training sessions to ensure timely preparation of equipment for projects.
- To maintain accurate records of equipment status, movement, and maintenance.
- To adhere to company health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures at all times.
Additionally, the candidate will be expected to:
Additional Duties:- Undertake risk assessments and deliver 'Toolbox' briefings prior to any works commencing.
- Encourage team members to support awareness initiatives and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
- Provide essential support during emergency situations and deliver clear instructions to other team members.
- Maintain records of project preparation and testing, as well as equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Liaise with Technical Managers regarding stock levels, systemic shortfalls, and improvements.
- A nationally recognized qualification in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within teams.
- Ability to perform tasks with high accuracy and precision.
- Willingness to travel overseas when required.
- Experience in 3D modeling (Solidworks, Inventor, AutoCAD) or programming (Python, C++, MATLAB).
