Are you passionate about technology and the marine industry? We're seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an ROV Trainee.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for you to kickstart your career in ROV operations. As an ROV Trainee, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship in the operation and maintenance of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) used in subsea operations.

As part of our dynamic team, you will assist in the preparation and mobilization of ROV equipment for operations. You will also participate in training sessions on ROV systems, operations, and safety protocols. Additionally, you will support ROV operators during dive operations and monitor vehicle performance.

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in subsea technology and marine operations. Relevant technical qualifications are a plus. Basic knowledge of electronics or mechanical systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and mobilization of ROV equipment for operations
  • Participate in training sessions on ROV systems, operations, and safety protocols
  • Support ROV operators during dive operations and monitor vehicle performance
  • Learn to troubleshoot basic technical issues with ROV systems under supervision
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of ROV equipment and work areas
  • Document operational activities and report on performance as required
  • Participate in safety drills and understand emergency procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical qualifications are a plus
  • Strong interest in subsea technology and marine operations
  • Basic knowledge of electronics or mechanical systems is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in challenging environments and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills in ROV operations
  • Physical fitness and ability to pass medical assessments for working offshore
