We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional for our high-performing team in Singapore.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low latency software engineering and a deep understanding of the financial markets industry.

This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance trading systems.

  • Design, develop, and maintain low latency, high-frequency trading systems.
  • Optimize and enhance the performance of existing trading platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the trading systems remain cutting-edge.

Requirements:

  • At least 10+ years of experience in Java software development, concurrency, data structures etc
  • Experience designing and building low latency, HFT, high frequency trading systems.
  • A passion for financial markets.
  • Proficiency in multi-threading, concurrency, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with network programming and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP).
  • Familiarity with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and data serialization formats (e.g., JSON, Protocol Buffers).
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with algorithmic trading and quantitative analysis.
  • Knowledge of FIX protocol and market data feeds.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
