Job Title: Experienced Software Engineer - Vision and GUI Development

Overview

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team in vision and GUI development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining custom machine vision and GUI applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop machine vision algorithms for product quality inspection, process control, and manufacturing automation.
  • Develop and maintain custom machine vision and GUI applications.
  • Configure vision systems including host PC, frame grabbers, cameras, illumination, motion control, interfaces etc.
  • Optimize existing software to improve performance and fix bugs.
  • Provide technical support for the field.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Masters or Bachelors degree in computer engineering/electronics engineering or equivalent.
  • Min 3-5 year experience in vision and developing windows applications for industrial/automation equipment using C#, WPF and .NET Framework.
  • Experienced and good understanding on TCP/IP, RS-232, Camera interface and any of motion controller interface protocols.
  • Knowledge in MODBUS, SECS/GEM and other industrial protocols is an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of process mapping and software design concepts.
