Staff Software Engineer, Funding


Are you a skilled software engineer looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for developing high-quality code and working collaboratively with others? Look no further
We are seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting our crypto transfer and fiat payment systems.
Your primary focus will be on improving feedback cycles at all levels of development, quickly ramping up on our existing architecture and product features, consistently delivering high-quality code, and systematically thinking through potential design impacts on other teams and the company.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will also review other software engineers' code, improve the performance and maintainability of our codebase, identify and advocate for foundational work and practice improvements, and mentor less tenured engineers and onboard new team members.
To succeed in this role, you will need at least 8+ years of software engineering experience, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, excellent communication and collaboration skills, expertise in Scala or a similar backend programming language, and the ability to work closely across teams and manage dependencies.
