Job Description

As a seasoned Embedded Software Engineer, you will lead the development of cutting-edge Linux-based stacks for EV chargers. Your expertise in IEC standards and experience with Plug-n-Charge and AC/DC bi-directional charging systems are essential to our success.

Collaborating closely with a small team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining embedded software for Net Zero products, ensuring code reusability across different projects. Your focus on scalability and adaptability will enable our solutions to thrive in global markets, starting with the European market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of a Linux-based stack for an EV charger supporting IEC -20 standards
  • Develop and maintain embedded software for Net Zero products
  • Collaborate with a small team to deliver high-quality software solutions within specified timelines
  • Identify and implement the best embedded Linux distribution for all projects
  • Develop a Home EMS system based on a common Linux OS stack

Required Skills and QualificationsEducation:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Work Experience:
  • 5 years in embedded software development, preferably in a Linux environment
Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages
  • Experience with embedded Linux distributions, such as Yocto or Buildroot
  • Familiarity with modern ARM SoCs and low-level device driver knowledge in embedded system designs
  • Knowledge of common data communication protocols, edge AI implementations & tools, and modern wireless technologies (Thread, Wi-Fi 7, BLE Coded PHY)
