Job Overview:

This position is responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer engineering and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop embedded software systems
  • Maintain and modify existing software applications
  • Document software design, implementation, and testing procedures
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to support test activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience in embedded software development (2+ years preferred)
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems

Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding of microcontroller architectures and operating systems such as Linux, FreeRTOS, and bare-metal programming
  • Knowledge of networking technologies including IP addressing/subnetting/routing, TCP/UDP, PPP, NAT, Firewall, and VPN
  • Familiarity with Petalinux or Xilinx platforms is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in English and/or Chinese
  • Strong teamwork and analytical skills
