Embedded Software Development Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Firmware Specialist to lead our team in designing and developing innovative firmware projects from conception to delivery. As a senior embedded software engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with architects, hardware teams, and other stakeholders to create cutting-edge solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, developing, coding, and documenting larger modules as part of firmware projects.
  • Rich experience in embedded SoC software development and debug environment setup.
  • Collaborating with relevant architects, software and hardware teams to finalize the system level solutions and modularize the firmware development works.
  • Utilizing low-level C coding techniques when developing codebases, following coding standards and best practices.
  • Reading schematics, utilizing oscilloscopes, digital analyzers, and other test equipment in the development and debugging of firmware designs.
  • Familiarity with RISC-V/ARM ISA is an added advantage.
  • Good team player and able to prioritize tasks and deliver modularized development work.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum degree in Bachelor's Engineering in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience on embedded systems.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
  • Experience with implementing embedded operating systems such as Linux, FreeRTOS on target hardware.
  • Demonstrated experience with C/C++/assembly language programming.
  • Demonstrated ability of problem analysis and solving.
