Procurement Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at RECRUIT EXPERT PTE. LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the regional procurement team and managing supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the regional procurement team in their day-to-day activities and ensure effective collaboration with other departments.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's sales and operations requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers, and conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Negotiate rates with suppliers and explore opportunities to optimize their portfolio.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of procurement experience in container shipping (shipping/freight forwarding).
  • Strong market knowledge in sea freights and transportation.
  • Proven leadership skills with good negotiation and analytical skills.
