Job Opportunity: Business Insight Specialist

The role of a Business Insight Specialist is to uncover valuable insights from large datasets and support business decision-making by driving efficiency. The primary focus will be on applying data mining techniques, conducting statistical analysis, building high-quality prediction systems, and collaborating with key stakeholders to optimize reporting and metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate technical objectives into defined problems that can be solved using data science methods.
  • Design algorithms to address current technical challenges.
  • Work closely with team members to apply advanced analytics, modeling, and simulation to replicate and anticipate issues.
  • Discover new technical problems that require solutions and support better decision-making.
  • Communicate data analysis and insights using rich visualization tools and leverage data to present compelling cases for optimized solutions.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis, generate and test working hypotheses, and uncover important trends and relationships.
  • Provide expertise on mathematical concepts and inspire the adoption of advanced analytics.
Requirements:
  • A recognized degree in Applied Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • A Master's degree in Applied Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with relational databases, information, and insights.
  • Experience with modeling software, data mining techniques, and methodologies.
  • Experience with visualization software (Tableau, MicroStrategy).
  • Experience leveraging cloud platforms and developing in SQL.
  • Superior critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate, creative, and forward-thinking individual.
