Job Title: Head of Admissions

Dulwich College (Singapore) PTE. LTD. is seeking an exceptional Admissions professional to lead our high-performing team in delivering an outstanding 'Dulwich Experience' to our families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure consistency in policy implementation and guarantee all admission policies are in compliance with Dulwich College standards, international school norms, and Singapore Government regulations.
  • Liaise with the Marketing team on the promotion of the College.
  • Collaborate closely with academic staff in relation to all admissions related activities.
  • Collect and analyse data to inform on market forces, trends, and competition.
  • Manage a team of Admissions professionals and ensure the highest standards of performance and behaviour are embedded in the team.
  • Conduct seminars, open houses, and other initiatives to promote the College.
  • Attend community events on the College's behalf.
  • Develop and maintain professional networking relationships with Admissions Departments in other international schools in the region.
  • Develop annual student recruitment plans and assist in the prediction of student enrolment.
  • Greet prospective applicants and provide school tours and information.
  • Oversee the re-enrolment process, including leavers, possible leavers, and student contracts.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new starters, including orientation days, and class and house allocations.
  • Oversee all admissions testing and facilitate the analysis of results.
  • Conduct prior learning evaluation and transcript review for all new students.
  • Administer any relevant student scholarships and grants.
  • Demonstrate outstanding personal leadership, which encourages team members to provide friendly, helpful, and timely support to new applicants and existing students.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of Admissions policies and procedures to ensure efficient and consistent implementation.
  • Conduct market analysis of international school competitors and carry out benchmarking exercises.
  • Ensure student records are accurate in a defined and documented manner to internal and external stakeholders as required.
Requirements:
  • Experience in an education-related organisation.
  • Knowledge and experience of the international school market in Singapore (essential).
  • Experience and confidence in delivering presentations to groups of stakeholders.
  • Experience of supervising the work of others and managing a team to meet departmental and organisational goals.
  • Experience of analysing data and collating results in an appropriate format for the relevant audience.
  • Experience of working across an organisation and working collaboratively with relevant departments.
  • Experience of working with children and young people.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role and understanding of the internationally-mobile family and student.
