Energy Storage Project Manager

Project Overview: Our company seeks a skilled and experienced energy storage project manager to lead the development, implementation, and commissioning of energy storage projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy, power systems, and battery energy storage technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of energy storage projects.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure successful deployment of energy storage projects from conception to completion.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, industry standards, and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, finance, and operations) to align project goals and objectives.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, utility companies, and regulatory authorities.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior management and investors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in renewable energy, power systems, or battery energy storage projects.
  • Strong understanding of energy storage technologies, grid interconnection, and power electronics.
  • Familiarity with energy market regulations, permitting processes, and utility-scale storage applications.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
